Our special video program on the occasion of 75th Indian Independence day features the Folk and Tribal music in India.A singing competition was held in the college and all the six entries are included in this video. Apart from Malayalam folk songs,Tamil, Rajasthani and Himachali songs are also included.

Amruthavarshini is the second video of our One India Million Rhythms programme as the part of 75th Independence day celebrations of our country. It is a journey to find the diversities of Indian Classical Music. 
It is a narration cum performance video by Raagam Music Club Members of NSSTC, Ottapalam.

75 th Independence Day Celebration  -Raagam Music club, NSS Training College,Ottapalaam.

_Rhythms to Freedom_

Our special video program on the occasion of 75th Indian Independence day features the poems and celebrated songs written during different stages of the freedom struggle, and the recent poetry evoking this golden history. Apart from *Malayalam, songs and poems in Bengali, Assamese, Tamil, Urdu, Marathi and Gujarati are included in the program.*

The video will feature the works of world renowned poet *Rabindranath Tagore* apart from the works of *Bharatiyar, Bismil Azimabadi, Amsi Narayana Pillai, Zaverchand Meghani, Sane Guruji, Bhupen Hazarika and V Madhusoodanan Nair.*

  • One India Million Rhythms :     Exploring the diversities of Indian music.

  • Freedom Struggle songs/poems    -  Singing competition for school students.

  • A  programme by the Ragam music club members in  the College Union Independence day  programme.

Meeting of the executive council members conducted on this day was enriched with many ideas  by the  members  and put forwarded suggestions on the following matters,

  • Create an Instagram Page for Ragam Music club 

  • Design an attractive logo for the club

  • Initiate interactive  sessions with musicians in the Club house platform

  • Conduct of Independence day programmes .

Official meeting  of  Ragam Music club, NSSTC, Ottapalam  held through online platform to form an official council.  The meeting unanimously   elected Ms. Anupriya K R ( B.Ed. Physical Science) as the Secretary . The 16 executive council members selected  from both B.Ed and M.Ed. streams include Akhil T, Sruthy K Kumar,Pavithra M, Sandhya K, Manju, Veena C Nair, Abdul Rahman O M, Sai Namitha B N, Sufaina M, Athira K, Anjaly A K, Jalwa K K, Anagha E P, Aparna Venugoapl, Nimitha K C, Silfa Anna Joy.
