 The Ragam  music club,NSS Training College, Ottappalam, conducted a musical tribute to Yousafali Kecheri which was named as അനുരാഗഗാനം പോലെ. Smt. Seema C, Music Club Coordinator, extended a  welcome speech to the session. Prof. (Dr.) Suresh Kumar K delivered the keynote address, and Kum. Harsha S Mohan extended a vote of thanks. The event was made memorable by the participation and
presentations of our students 🙏.

Music club meeting 

Date: 19 September 2025

Time: 1:07 PM

Venue: General Hall, NSS Training College Ottapalam.

The Music Club convened a meeting on 19 September 2025 at 1:07 PM under the guidance of the faculty coordinator's-Dr Sajan, Dr Lekshmi V, Dr Anu and Mrs Seema C. The session began with a warm welcome, followed by a discussion on the upcoming activities of the club.

The meeting was attended by student members along with the faculty advisors, who shared valuable suggestions for improving participation and enhancing the creative spirit of the club. Students actively interacted with the coordinators, raising ideas about cultural programs, practice sessions, and future performances.

The key highlight of the meeting was:

• Planning for the official inauguration of the club

The session concluded with a note of motivation from the coordinators, reminding everyone that music not only enriches cultural life but also strengthens unity among students.

A Tribute to P. Jayachandran (1944-2025): Soulful voice of Indian playback music

 

The Music club of NSS Training College, Ottapalam  organized a heartfelt remembrance program on January 13, 2025, to pay tribute to the legendary singer P. Jayachandran. The event celebrated his musical legacy, which embodied the spirit of emotional expression over perfection.

The program commenced with a prayer, followed by a welcome address by Dr. Lekshmi V., a member of the Ragam Music Club. Principal-in-charge Smitha R. delivered the keynote address.

Dr. K.S. Sajan, also a member of the Ragam Music Club, and student representative Aiswarya V.M. shared their reminiscences of the late singer.

The highlight of the program was the Ganarchana, a mesmerizing and soulful musical performance by students from various departments.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Vishnu.

 The Ragam Music Club of our college organized a marvelous program TONES OF TUNES on 28/6/2024 . The event aimed to provide  an enriching musical experience through a series of performances.Our Principal Prof (Dr.) Ampili Aravind inaugurated the function.The program was enriched by Solo,Duet performances  anthakshari and onnay paadam sessions.Music Club co- ordinator Smt. Seema C extended vote of thanks .

Music club inauguration 2022-'Raagam Mohanam'

Dr.Dakshinamoorthy Memorial Ragam Music club 2022 'Raagam Mohanam' was Inaugurated on February 3 rd at 1.30 PM Via Google meet Platform by the Renowned Musician Sri.Midhun Jayaraj.

   'Ragaam Mohanam' is the Memorable event Started with a blissful Prayer by Music club member.The welcome speech was made by Dr.Sajan K.S, Co-ordinator,Raagam Music club,NSS Training College Ottappalam.The event moved Smoothly with a Presidential Address by the College Principal,Dr.Ampili Aravind.

Smt.Anupriya.K.R , Secretary of Raagam Music club Introduces the Chief guest.Famous musician,Sri. Midun Jayaraj Made a Delightful Performance, Lecture and Inaugurated the Session.The Event Moved Smoothly with a blissful Performance by the Sri.VipinLal of Outstanding Band named Thaikkudam Bridge.Felicitation was done by 1- Dr.Lekshmi.V,Staff Advisor,

Report - Independence day

75 th Independence Day Celebration  -Raagam Music club, NSS Training College,Ottapalaam.

_Rhythms to Freedom_

Our special video program on the occasion of 75th Indian Independence day features the poems and celebrated songs written during different stages of the freedom struggle, and the recent poetry evoking this golden history. Apart from *Malayalam, songs and poems in Bengali, Assamese, Tamil, Urdu, Marathi and Gujarati are included in the program.*

The video will feature the works of world renowned poet *Rabindranath Tagore* apart from the works of *Bharatiyar, Bismil Azimabadi, Amsi Narayana Pillai, Zaverchand Meghani, Sane Guruji, Bhupen Hazarika and V Madhusoodanan Nair.*

Physical Science) as the Secretary .
